Scott BamforthScott Bamforth
Scott was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In high school, he starred for the Del Norte Knights, amassing an impressive collection of awards. 2 time 1st Team All- State, 2 time 1st Team All-Region, 2 time 1st Team All-Metro and New Mexico Player of the Year in 2007. After graduation, Scott moved on to play in college where his success followed him. In his lone year playing for Western Nebraska Community College, Scott earned a spot on the Region IX All-Region 1st Team. From there, Scott moved to Division 1, Weber State. During Scott’s 3 year career at Weber State, he was named to the Big Sky Conference 1st Team two times and was named to the Top 50 Greatest Players of All-Time Team at Weber State University. Scott has one of the strongest work ethics around and it has greatly aided him in the start of his professional career. During the 2013 summer, Scott worked out for NBA teams which enabled him the opportunity to play at a high level overseas. All of Scott’s hard work and collegiate success has culminated in his first professional contract. Scott currently plays in the ACB Liga Endesa in Spain. Scott is relentless in his pursuit of always improving and that translates to his work with REAL Hoops. He has a strong desire to not only teach kids the game of basketball, but to do it the right way.
As Owner and President of REAL Hoops, Scott is determined to give back to the community and help young players achieve their dreams by enabling the opportunites to better their basketball skills through REAL Hoops.
